Our first match this term, we played extremely well and departed Marlborough with two wins, 6-2 against the hosts and 6-5 against St. Helens and St. Katherines. Many of our team members had never played a match outside of training before but still played incredibly well despite this. One of these people was Flora S-G who played incredibly in the midfield fighting for the ball including some really lovely ground balls. Also in the midfield we had Emilia L-U working extremely hard playing with loads of aggression. We had some great moments in attack worth Sophie A and Emily H often strategically positioned ready to catch and shoot. Defensively we were a player down so had to switch in midfielders, despite this we still managed to defend effectively. Our goalie, Lilli B playing incredibly as usual making some brilliant saves and winning defensive player of the match against Marlborough.

Overall a fabulous performance with a number of positives to take forward.
