Today we had a great match against Wellington. We started off the first quarter with high intensity and strong, hard drives. Towards the end, we were up by quite a lot, so we focused on keeping the ball steady and working it around the court instead of doing long balls as it was a really windy day. Lottie, Annie and Ottie worked really hard in the defensive end, and managed to keep their shooters out of the circle. Unfortunately we didn't play as well as we could have in the 3rd quarter, but everyone pulled through and made fantastic contributions in the 4th quarter! We are going to work harder on keeping the communication throughout the court, and more accurate passes into the circle. This resulted in a 24-6 win to us, and everybody should be really proud of themselves. Well done to Lottie and Mia for receiving player of the match.
