Sherborne Girls Under 17's vs Millfield Under 16's

A very tough first match to get us started in the season, despite defeat the girls remained in positive spirits throughout the entire game.

Elle Laurel Ashun played outstandingly in defence always putting her body in the way and regaining possession. With players playing out of position and out of their comfort zone, the team worked really well together and always encouraged each other.

By half time we were 4-0 down, however this didnt discourage the girls and they got back out there and pressed the opposite side. With this determination Octavia Tennant scored a great goal, all girls with smiles on their faces celebrated and continued to work really hard for each other.

Although we lost the girls showed great perseverance and determination, they all worked really hard and should be proud of themselves.
