Our match against Downside started off with little communication and no control over the ball play.

In the first quarter Downside got the first two goals, we started to pick things up and gained ourselves four goals while downside scored no more this quarter because of Alice, Ella and Amelie working well in defence.

In the second quarter we started to pick up the pace however this led to loopy inaccurate balls, we then didn’t get many passes into the D. This quarter we started to communicate and involve staggered movement/drives. At half time we got a stern talking to from Mr Bell which finally made us focus on the gameplay and awareness of surroundings. Cora, chloe and Tavie were feeding the balls in to the D very effectively.

In the third quarter we all pulled together and played safely and got 8 goals which matched the first half of the game bringing the third quarter to a comfortable 9-18 to us and finally we kept playing at a good standard to finished the game. Well done everyone!
