The girls took advantage of the Bryanston having limited time to warm up by creating a gap of 7-2 by the end of the first quarter. The girls looked in control and took their time with ball to move it up the court. By half time the score became closer 9-7 and Bryanston were starting to put pressure on SG.

The match continued to extremely close both teams feeling the pressure from each other. As a result there were lots of unforced errors by both teams and Sherborne Girls started to rush the ball down the court which resulted in losing possession. At the end of the third quarter the score was 16-15. Bryanston continued to put pressure on SG and secured the win at the last whistle of 16-17. It was a very close match with lots of lessons to be learnt and taken forward into our match on Saturday.
